Krunal Pandys is quickly establishing himself as a regular for India in T20 Internationals. He was named man-of-the-series in India’s 3-0 whitewash of West Indies in the T20I series and has asserted himself as a strong second all-rounder in the shorter formats.
Krunal and his brother Hardik play together for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. Hardik, India’s premier all-rounder across formats, was rested for the tour of the West Indies but Krunal came face-to-face against a man he loves as much as his brother: Kieron Pollard.
West Indies lost all 3 T20Is in Lauderhill and Providence but Pollard had a good series with scores of 49, 8 not out and 58.
The Pandya brothers and Kieron Pollard get along famously. Together, the trio has helped Mumbai Indians become the most successful team in the history of the Indian Premier League – no other team has won the championships more than MI.
After India conquered the West Indies in the T20I series, Krunal Pandya headed home but not before catching up his mate and brother Kieron Pollard.
In a touching message, Krunal Pandya wrote:
Pleasure to play against you my brother, but I prefer it when you’re on my side 😝🤣 pic.twitter.com/I40crSahlz
